This is the view from the back or gardenside towards the house. In 2011 the roof was lifted and a 2nd level installed.
This picture was taken at the wedding of the daughter of the countess Aimé in the garden of Casa Cakchiquel. The countess is the 2nd lady to the right and the lady to the right is Betty Hennstein who still lives with her husband Richard in Panajachel.
